This talk presents new insights into the history of Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews based upon evidence from recent, large-scale DNA sequencing projects. These new results supplement, complement and, in some cases, challenge our existing understanding of history and the relations between Jewish populations, and between Jews and their neighbours.
