Ayellet is the Deputy Ambassador of Israel to South Africa. Before joining the Foreign Service, she worked as an informal educator at an Israeli girls' high school. She studied Political Science, Communications and Judaism and has an MA in International Relations. She is married to Elliott Black and has 2 children.
